This site could only spring into existence with the help of people and organisations that share our passion and recognise the need to preserve this history of advertising in Singapore. The National Archives of Singapore offered encouragement right from the beginning and has supplied many examples of early advertising displayed here. The staff and students of the Business School at Temasek Polytechnic have helped upload material and research brands in Singapore and been generally supportive of the project from early days. AdAsia magazine, now the oldest advertising trade magazine published in the Republic of Singapore, has generously released its own archives of material which it collected from the time of its launch in 2000 and allowed us to use them on this site. We also thank Asylum for creating the colourful images for the decade graphics and Design Bridge for creating the logo, and finally Chillybin for the design and production of this website.
Advertising Archive is closely tied to the industry itself and we are proud to have the support and encouragement of the major trade associations: The Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies Singapore (4As), Design Business Chamber of Singapore (formerly DAS), and Data-Driven Marketing Association of Singapore (DMAS).
