When an industry gets to a certain strength, it can support a trade publication. The first advertising trade magazine published in Singapore was ‘AdVoice’. This was a simple two-sheet A4 printed in two colours. IAS later published a similar newsletter under the title ‘AdLib’. The first serious news coverage came with the launch of the large and colourful AdAsia. Other magazines from Australian, Hong Kong and Malaysian publishers entered the market from 2002.
