“This advertisement by APP appeared in the Straits Times and other newspapers on 11 October 2015. This company was amongst those being investigated for allowing the forest fires which created a haze that blanketed Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore as well as Indonesia for more than two months causing economic and medical damage. A boycott of paper products from this company was in full swing and this advertisement was an attempt to reverse the bad press.”
